Martin Group resumed imports of road bitumen to Ukraine in June 2026. For the Chernivtsi-based trader, these are the first bitumen product supplies since 2022.

Details

Since the beginning of June, Martin has imported around 200 tonnes of bitumen produced by the Lithuanian concern Orlen Lietuva. The supply portfolio includes 70/100 and 50/70 grade bitumen shipped by road transport from the Mažeikiai District of Lithuania.

The company notes that entering the bitumen segment is part of its strategy to expand trading operations and explore new investment opportunities. Martin plans to continue regular supplies of products from Lithuania.

In addition, by the end of June the company expects the arrival of a batch of bitumen from Galați, Romania.

According to NaftoRynok, bitumen imports reached 38.1 thousand tonnes in May 2026, which is 50% higher than import volumes in April. The leading importers are companies of the Cantarell Group and "AT Energo Trade", as noted in the Monthly Fuels&LPG report.
