AT Energo Trade has been holding the lead among suppliers for the third month in a row. The trader recorded the largest increase in imports among all companies, bringing the volumes to the highest level since the beginning of russia's full-scale aggression in Ukraine, according to NaftoRynok’s Daily Fuels&LPG analytical issue.

Details

Slovak resources from Slovnaft’s facilities in Bratislava are prevalent in the company’s basket. In addition, AT Energo Trade keeps increasing its presence in 2025 thanks to river supplies, which have been showing an upward trend since the beginning of the year. However, they are still inferior to last year's figures. Based on the results of January-July 2025, the company ranks second in the overall importers’ rating, slightly behind the OKKO Group.

Top-10

There were some changes to the top ten importers: the changes covered not only a partial rotation of the ranking, but also the participants themselves (see diagram). Barvysti Rushnyky, which first listed as one of the largest importers in March and has been ranking 8th – 10th since then, left the top 10. In July, its imports were the lowest in the last five months.

BRSM-Nafta has also left the top ten this month reducing its own imports in favor of formula sales to Ukrainian residents and ranking 15th in July. The Martin group ranked tenth again, having resumed its rail supplies from Poland. The state-owned Ukrnafta also entered the circle of the largest importers in July, showing an almost threefold increase in volumes compared to the previous month.

WOG Group is one of the few companies to end July with the largest reduction in contracted import volumes – by 28.6% compared to the previous month, to the lowest level since July 2024. The decrease in supplies covered mainly the western direction. However, for the first time since 2023, the retailer returned to road supplies, in particular those from the Lithuanian Okseta terminal in Kaunas.

Growth to its 14-month maximum due to an increase in tanker supplies from Greece and Romania allowed Cantarell to become third in the overall importer ranking in July, giving way to the OKKO Group. The top 5 companies showing positive dynamics in volumes also included UPG and the AGTG group, leading the western and southern directions, respectively.

In July, Ukrainian companies contracted diesel volumes worth $422.44 million before customs clearance (taking into account the contract price and delivery to the customs clearance point) against $318.16 million a month earlier. Overall, diesel import volumes in July were the highest in the past four months, reaching 17.3 thousand tons per day, just 0.7% below last year’s level.
