The first nationwide contest “Gas Station of the Year 2025” about convenience, commerce, and services at gas stations, organized by the publication NaftoRynok, has announced its winners. The organizers announced the results during the event PROgress your Station 2025, which took place on October 8.
The “Gas Station of the Year 2025” contest brought together 19 gas station brands with local, regional, and national coverage. This year, five nominations were announced, gathering nearly three dozen applications.
Contest nominations:
- “Most Convenient Gas Station”,
- “Most Technological Gas Station”,
- “Most Coffee-Friendly Gas Station”,
- “Most Delicious Gas Station”,
- “Most Interesting Gas Station”.
Special recognitions of the contest
Special recognitions from NaftoRynok were awarded to:
the national fuel gas station network Ukrnafta for the “Largest Rebranding and Reconstruction of Gas Stations in 2025”;
the OKKO gas station in the city of Kostyantynivka, known as an “Island of Life,” as an example of resilience and courage in operating in front-line areas, which is part of the large-scale OKKO project “Warming the Defenders”.
“The unexpected results of the contest in various nominations show the high interest of gas station networks and give us confidence that we are responding to the needs of the market. Therefore, we can confidently say that we will meet again in 2026,” said the organizer of the contest, owner of NaftoRynok Oleksandr Sirenko.
The nominations that gathered the largest number of applications were “Most Coffee-Friendly Gas Station” and “Most Delicious Gas Station”, while the nomination that received the fewest was “Most Technological Gas Station”.
The evaluation was conducted by a panel of 13 judges representing the NaftoRynok, Energo Business, and ExPro Consulting. The contest was held by assessing participant applications using a five-point scale, where 1 was the lowest score and 5 the highest.
It should be recalled that the contest began on August 25 and took place in two stages.
