NaftoRynok, the organizer of the first nationwide contest “Gas Station of the Year 2025”, announced the winners on October 8 in Kyiv in the presence of the owners and top managers of the best gas station networks. The gas stations that became finalists and winners in five categories were determined.
The nomination “Most Coffee-Friendly Gas Station” received the largest number of participant applications. The jury selected three finalists in this category.
Winner of the Most Coffee-Friendly Gas Station 2025 nomination
The main award of the nationwide contest went to the network of filling complexes UPG.
The judges awarded 288 points to the application of UPG Gas Station No. 143 (Kyiv region, Bucha district, Kyiv–Kovel–Yahodyn highway, km 35+910).
“When we started preparing freshly cooked meals right at the gas station, no one believed it. They said that a real kitchen couldn’t exist at a filling station. But we took the risk — and it became our hallmark, the thing that distinguishes UPG. Then we took another risk — installing professional coffee machines at all stations and training our staff to make coffee like in the best coffee shops. And today, this award is proof that we did everything right!” said the founder of UPG Volodymyr Petrenko.
According to the owner of UPG, “any success is not only about ideas or investments, but above all about people. At UPG I am proud of our team — those who stand behind the counter, cook, make coffee, and smile at every customer. We grow together, learn together, and every day prove that service is about heart, teamwork, and love for what we do.”
The UPG network proved that coffee at a gas station can be not only of high quality but truly barista-level — with proper roasting, consistent flavor, and an atmosphere that sets the mood for the journey.
The awarding of finalists and winners of the “Gas Station of the Year 2025” contest took place within the framework of the event “PROgress your Station 2025”, organized and held by the NaftoRynok.

Additionally, the finalists in this category were:
• UT OIL (88b Mykhailo Hrushevskyi St., Zhovti Vody, Dnipropetrovsk region).
The UT OIL gas station application received 277 evaluation points.
The second finalist of the nomination:
• KLO (1D Mykola Bazhana Ave., Kyiv).
The KLO gas station application received 282 evaluation points.
About the Gas Station of the Year 2025 contest
The first nationwide “Gas Station of the Year 2025” contest was announced on August 25. The contest was held in two stages, by evaluating participant applications. This year, five nominations were announced, and 19 gas station brands responded. Participation in the “Gas Station of the Year” contest is free.
Special recognitions of the contest
Outside the competition program, special recognitions were given to the national network Ukrnafta for the largest-scale reconstruction and rebranding, and to OKKO in the city of Kostyantynivka — as an “island of life.”
