The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) has granted UPG permission to take control of 25 gas stations formerly part of the Avias and ANP networks, the agency's press service reported.

On November 20, AMCU approved "Ukrpaletsystem" to lease 15 gas stations owned by five companies: "Sorella Oil" (5 stations), "Tekila Gold" (4 stations), "Eurotrade Expo" (3 stations), "Corso Town" (2 stations), and "Vertix-Mall" (1 station).

Additionally, UPG received approval to acquire 10 gas stations belonging to "Albiland" (2 stations), "Ecotrade Company" (2 stations), "Angel Capital" (2 stations), "Tekila Gold" (1 station), "Leader Finance" (1 station), "Jasmi Trade" (1 station), and "Newport Holding" (1 station).

The AMCU did not disclose the addresses of the gas stations.

According to YouControl data, the ultimate beneficiary owner of most of these companies is Yuriy Kiperman, the father of businessman Mykhailo Kiperman. NaftoRynok reports that the stations involved are part of the ANP and Avias networks.

Background

«Ukrpaletsystem» had previously received AMCU approvals to lease a total of 383 ANP and «Avias» stations. With this latest approval, the company now leases 398 stations from these networks. According to NaftoRynok, UPG’s total portfolio has increased to 495 stations.
