Ukrtransgaz JSC (UTG), a member of Naftogaz Group, has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, in particular with the Institute of Geology and other interested institutes and faculties. This was reported by the press service of UTG.
What is the Memorandum about?
The agreement's purpose is to train specialists in the fuel and energy complex and improve educational programs following the market's real needs.
The main areas of cooperation include the opportunity for students to undergo internships at Ukrtransgaz units, employment of specialists in specialized fields, participation in the development and adaptation of curricula to the current challenges of the energy sector, and holding joint conferences, roundtables, seminars, and other events.
“Our task is not only to attract young professionals but also to create conditions for their professional development. Cooperation with the Kyiv National University will allow us to combine theory with real practices in the energy sector,” said Roman Malyutin, CEO of Ukrtransgaz.
The memorandum will be valid until December 31, 2030, with the possibility of an extension.
“It is important for us that our graduates receive modern knowledge that meets the real needs of the labor market. This agreement expands opportunities for students and opens up new prospects,” emphasized Volodymyr Bugrov, Rector of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
