On the morning of March 7, Russians once again attacked Naftogaz Group's gas infrastructure facilities. According to the company, this is the seventeenth combined attack on Naftogaz's gas facilities.
Attacks on gas production
The attack damaged production facilities that ensure gas production. Fortunately, there were no casualties. Roman Chumak, CEO of Naftogaz Group, reported this.
“We are currently eliminating the consequences of the shelling and assessing the damage. Naftogaz Group is taking all necessary measures to restore the operation of the facilities that the enemy attacked. We are doing and will continue to do everything possible to ensure that the country is supplied with gas. I thank all employees of Naftogaz Group and all power engineers of the country for their work in extremely difficult conditions,” said Roman Chumak.
In addition, Ternopil Mayor Serhiy Nadal noted that the night attack damaged a critical industrial facility. According to him, the regional gas company disconnected non-household consumers due to a drop in pressure in the networks.
