Ukrburgaz's Poltava Drilling Division of Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC celebrates 50 years of operation, the press service of UGV reports. Despite the full-scale war, the division continues to work, fulfilling drilling plans.
“The martial law has adjusted the work processes of Ukrgasvydobuvannya. Today, we are doing everything possible to protect people and infrastructure,” said Serhiy Lagno, CEO of Ukrgasvydobuvannya.
Results of the Poltava Drilling Division in 2024
In 2024, the Poltava Drilling Division drilled 77,621 meters of penetration, a record annual figure in the branch's history. The average drilling depth was 4,271 meters, and the productive time was 95.9%.
The first wells drilled by the Poltava Drilling Division were at the Opishnyanske, Mashivske, Hadiatske, and Solokhivske gas condensate fields. Stepan Grebenyuk was the head of the department at the time.
“We remember with gratitude our employees who stood at the origins of drilling. Their titanic efforts have paid off and we are proud to continue their work and bow to those colleagues who are now protecting our land,” said Igor Masnyk, Head of the Poltava Drilling Division.
230 Ukrburgaz employees were mobilized to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and are now defending Ukraine from the enemy.
