Naftogaz Group is interested in importing American LNG, as the company's representatives noted during their participation in the international energy conference CERAWeek 2025 held in Houston (USA). During the conference, the Naftogaz team held a series of meetings with representatives of leading energy companies and think tanks, including Cheniere Energy, Hartree Partners, Freeport LNG, LNG Allies, Center for LNG, S&P Global, Excelerate Energy, and others.
The meetings focused on opportunities to strengthen international cooperation. The Naftogaz team informed the representatives of international companies about the production capacities of Naftogaz Group companies. In particular, they emphasized the capabilities of Ukraine's underground gas storage facilities, which are the largest in Europe and can accept gas from foreign companies for long-term storage.
“Naftogaz Group ensures the country's energy stability. During the bilateral meetings, we are working to restore infrastructure, diversify supplies, and attract international investments to strengthen the Ukrainian energy system,” said Dmytro Abramovych, Member of the Management Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
