In May 2026, Ukrainian filling stations increased fuel sales volumes compared to both April and the same period last year, while annual retail revenue surged by more than 54% amid a significant rise in petroleum product prices.

According to monitoring data from NaftoRynok, a total of 649.41 million liters of fuel were sold through the retail network in May 2026. This is 10.70 million liters more than in April this year and 9.47 million liters higher than in May 2025.
The operators' revenue for the reporting month amounted to UAH 48.71 billion. Compared to April, industry revenues remained virtually unchanged; however, on a year-on-year basis, a sharp increase of UAH 17.19 billion was recorded. Meanwhile, the number of registered cash registers remained at 24,852 units.
