Today, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi signed a law amending the Tax Code, which provides for a deferral of fines for the absence of bioethanol in gasoline sold at filling stations and by wholesellers. This is stated in the bill card No. 13134 on the website of the Parliament of Ukraine.

Deferred Liability

The addition of 5% bioethanol to A-92 and A-95 gasoline sold at filling stations becomes mandatory starting May 1, 2025. However, fines for non-compliance will only be imposed starting January 1, 2026.

On June 18, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the draft law on expanding patients' access to medicinal products subject to procurement by an entity authorized to carry out public health procurement through managed entry agreements. At the last minute before the vote, MPs added an amendment to exempt gasoline sellers from liability for the absence of 5% bioethanol in the fuel.
