The team of Ukrtransgaz JSC (UTG) participated in the open discussion of the draft resolution of the NEURC, which defines and regulates the certification procedure of the Gas Storage Operator of Ukraine. This was reported by the company's press service.
"Our colleagues, together with the representatives of the Regulator, discussed the rules of certification, as well as the specifics of the further implementation by the NEURC of monitoring compliance by the operator of gas storage facilities with the norms established by European legislation," the UTG noted.
In addition, the participants detailed the list of information and documents that UTG will have to provide during the monitoring of compliance with the certification conditions.
Currently, after a successful open discussion, Ukrtransgaz is awaiting the receipt of all necessary approvals and final approval of the Certification Procedure at the meeting of the NEURC. According to Law No. 2850-IX, adopted by the Parliament of Ukraine, this process should be completed by the end of February 2023.
