The Ukrainian fuel and service station network UPG has launched 34 new gas stations in the Kyiv region, which previously operated under the ANP and Avias brands. The company’s press service reported this to NaftoRynok.

Details

The launch of 34 stations represents the company’s largest single expansion in the capital region and has created over 450 jobs in Kyiv and the surrounding region, UPG said. Thanks to the expansion, the company is expected to pay an additional 100 million hryvnias in taxes by the end of 2025.

Before opening, all stations underwent comprehensive preparation, including tank cleaning, equipment modernization, and establishing a stable fuel supply from leading refineries in Europe and the USA.

"We ensure the same price and consistently high fuel quality at all stations in our network. This principle is non-negotiable for UPG—regardless of region or station format. Customers can always trust their choice when visiting our stations," said UPG CEO Oleksandr Matyushenko.

The Kyiv region expansion is the first stage of the company’s large-scale development strategy, UPG added. The company plans to open another 185 stations across eight regions of Ukraine in the near future.

Background

On September 26, Ukrpaletsystem, the operator of UPG stations, received approval from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) to lease 17 more ANP and Avias stations. In total, AMCU allowed the company to lease 219 stations previously operating under these brands. In early September, UPG launched its first leased stations in Kyiv.
