Ukrpaletsystem PE (operator of 86 UPG fuel stations) achieved a record volume of diesel fuel imports in November 2024, marking the highest level since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. For the first time since October 2022, the group ranked first among suppliers this month, according to an analytical report by NaftoRynok Daily fuels & LPG.
Fuel Supplied by UPG
According to NaftoRynok, in 2024, UPG primarily imported diesel fuel from the Polish Baltchem terminal in Szczecin, with the fuel originating from the United States. This source accounted for 94% of UPG's total diesel imports in November, most of which were transported by rail. Additionally, the company utilizes its own fleet of fuel trucks, sourcing some diesel fuel from Romania.
Fuel Procurement
As reported earlier by NaftoRynok, in early December, Ukrpaletsystem won a tender to supply 15 000 tonnes of diesel fuel to Ukrzaliznytsia.
