Ukrtransnafta JSC held a meeting on the development of the Strategy for renovation and modernization of the main technological equipment, which covers both the production facilities themselves and the facilities of the linear part. The document was developed until 2030. This was reported by the company's press service.
According to the Strategy, in 2023, the renewal will primarily concern oil pumping stations, namely, obsolete equipment (morally and physically).
The main directions in which the update will take place:
- replacement of pumping units
- electric motors
- transformers
- shut-off fittings
- automation systems
- reconstruction of tank farms.
"The update applies to all objects that, so to speak, form our "horseshoe", that is, which are directly involved in the process of transporting oil and which may be involved in this process in the near future. Therefore, the main steps regarding the replacement of technological equipment of production facilities and the linear part have been defined. And we are already in the process of implementing them," stressed Ukrtransnafta General Director Volodymyr Tsependa.
