Ukrnafta is selling twice as much fuel at the rebranded Shell stations, which the state-owned company acquired earlier this year. This was reported by Denis Kudin, Executive Vice President for Corporate Strategy and Development at Ukrnafta JSC, during the RAU conference in Kyiv, according to a correspondent from NaftoRynok.

Details

Ukrnafta is completing the rebranding of Shell service stations. According to Kudin, more than 110 of the acquired Shell stations are already operating under the Ukrnafta brand, and next week the company is expected to complete the rebranding program. In total, the Shell network in Ukraine had 118 service stations.

The rebranded stations sell twice as much fuel as they did under the Shell brand, Kudin said. This indicates that the Ukrnafta brand is currently stronger in the Ukrainian market, he added.

Background

Recall that at the beginning of August, Ukrnafta announced that it closed the deal to acquire Shell stations and continues the rebranding program for these stations.
