The Supervisory Board of JSC Ukrnafta reviewed the company's performance results for the first quarter of 2026 following visits to its production units in western Ukraine. The company's retail segment demonstrated growth: sales of light petroleum products increased by 49% compared to the first quarter of 2025, according to the statement. In particular, gasoline sales rose by 31%, while diesel fuel sales increased by 75%, the company reported.

Hydrocarbon production volumes were maintained at the level of the corresponding period in 2025 despite Russian attacks, significant equipment damage, and power outages that affected the mechanically operated well stock.

The additional effect of operational and technical measures — including major well workovers, production intensification activities, optimization efforts, and hydraulic fracturing operations — resulted in an additional output of 22 thousand tonnes of oil and 8.2 million m³ of gas, said Bohdan Kukura.

A separate achievement was the improvement of well stock reliability. The average period between well repairs was extended through the use of modern pumping equipment supplied by Baker Hughes, Oil Dynamics, and Alkhorayef, as well as comprehensive efforts to replace tubing, cables, and corrosion protection systems.
