The Ukrainian state company Ukrnafta has a broad supply geography. According to the third quarter results, the company sold fuel from 15 refineries at its gas stations. This was reported in the November 6, 2024 issue of NaftoRynok Daily fuels & LPG.
According to NaftoRynok's data, in Q3 2024, Ukrnafta directly imported 12,900 tons of A-95 gasoline, all of which came from PKN Orlen’s production. Diesel imports totaled 9,700 tons, supplied by PKN Orlen and Sweden’s Preem.
The company stated that fuel is being actively purchased on the domestic market due to favorable prices.
For instance, Ukrnafta sources fuel from three Orlen Group refineries. Gasoline comes from the Mazeikiai refinery in Lithuania and the Plock refinery in Poland, while diesel is sourced from the Gdansk refinery in Poland.
The supply structure for A-95 gasoline also includes Greek products from Hellenic Petroleum and Motor Oil.
The largest share of diesel fuel came from Slovnaft, accounting for 29%, while Preem’s resources made up 13%.
Diesel from Greece is supplied by Hellenic Petroleum and Motor Oil Hellas, while Italy provides products from SARAS and Sarlux refineries. The company also purchased diesel from Israel’s Oil Refineries and Ashdod Refinery. The rest were sourced from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kuwait, and Turkmenistan.
Furthermore, in the second half of October, Ukrnafta cleared customs on its first batches of Arctic diesel. Additionally, the director of the state company, Serhiy Koretskyi, announced that Ukrnafta plans to upgrade around 100 gas stations by the end of 2024.
