Ukrnafta PJSC completed the overhaul of the well with the transition to the overlying horizon of the field in the East of Ukraine. The director of the company, Sergiy Koretskyi, announced this.
Currently, the company's specialists are conducting a complex of studies to establish the parameters for experimental operation. It is expected to take several weeks.
Ukrnafta reported that they already have the first results. According to preliminary data, the planned daily throughput of the well may be about 32 tons of liquid hydrocarbons and 17 tcm of gas.
Also, this year, the company plans to build a new well and conduct preparatory work to start drilling six wells at once in 2024.
"All activities are carried out within the boundaries of fields that are already exploited. This will make it possible to maintain and partially increase production rates," Koretskyi noted.
Ukrnafta is currently conducting a strategic assessment of existing reserves and plans to acquire new licensed areas.
