Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC, a member of Naftogaz Group, has launched a well in a newly discovered field. This was reported by the press service of Naftogaz.

The well's daily flow rate is 170 tcm of natural gas, and its depth is 4,202 meters. This is the 15th well in this field since the beginning of the year.
It is noted that another well is planned for this field by the end of the year and four wells next year.
“Thanks to the professional and well-coordinated work of all Ukrgasvydobuvannya specialists, we have increased production for the second year in a row. I thank everyone for their professional work and this result,” said Oleksiy Chernyshov, Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
Previous research
According to Serhiy Lahno, acting CEO of Ukrgasvydobuvannya, this result was achieved due to the successful choice of the well site.
“This was preceded by earlier 3D seismic surveys and their qualitative analysis, preliminary identification of promising horizons, as well as clarification of their capacity,” added Lagno.
