The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine agreed on the terms of the restructuring of Eurobonds of Naftogaz of Ukraine with maturities in July 2022 and November 2026, on which the company reached an agreement with investors. The relevant order of the CMU was published on the government website on June 26, 2023.
"I am very grateful to the government, as a shareholder of the company, for approving the terms of the restructuring that we agreed with the owners of Naftogaz Eurobonds. This brought the company one step closer to fulfilling its obligations to investors," said Naftogaz Chairman Oleksiy Chernyshov. The restructuring is expected to be completed by the end of July 2023. Detailed restructuring proposals were also approved by the board and supervisory board of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
