The Supervisory Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine has confirmed that Serhiy Koretsky has been appointed as the new CEO of the Naftogaz Group. He will assume the position on May 14, according to Naftogaz's press service.

"He will assume the position of CEO of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine starting May 14, 2025," the statement reads.
The Supervisory Board stated that they conducted a global search for the new CEO and interviewed many qualified candidates from both Ukraine and abroad.
"We are confident that by combining his successful experience in both the public and private sectors, S. Koretsky will lead NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine with great efficiency during wartime and in the post-war recovery period," the statement said.
The Naftogaz Supervisory Board emphasized that Koretsky has their unanimous support.
Roman Chumak, who has been serving as the acting CEO of Naftogaz since December 2024, will continue to work as the company's Chief Financial Officer.
