The Parallel fuel station network has started a program to install solar power plants at its sites. The first one is already up and running at one of the company’s stations, its press service told NaftoRynok.

Details

The project is part of the company’s long-term energy strategy to boost energy independence and bring more sustainable solutions to the Parallel station network.

The investment program is partly funded with the help of partner banks—PUMB and Bank Pivdennyi. Talks with other financial institutions are still underway, the company noted.

In 2025, Parallel invested UAH 40.5 million in infrastructure, with a large share going toward solar power projects, as well as station upgrades and digital modernization.

“For us, this is not just an investment in infrastructure—it is an investment in the future. Implementing solar power plants is a logical step within our sustainable development agenda and our responsibility to customers and the country,” said the company’s CEO and owner, Oleksandr Dubinin.

Background

Before the war, the Parallel brand had 132 fuel stations. The full-scale invasion forced the company to close or suspend most of them. Today, 76 stations remain open in the Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, and Poltava regions, as well as in Ukrainian-controlled areas of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia.
