On June 25, OKKO and the “Come Back Alive” foundation presented the art installation “Awareness,” created as a symbol of gratitude to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the company announced on its social media channels.

The idea to create the sculpture as a tribute to the Territorial Defense Forces emerged during the second phase of the campaign “An Eye for an Eye: Arming the Territorial Defense to the Teeth” (a Ukrainian campaign focused on fully equipping the Territorial Defense Forces). The “Come Back Alive” foundation supported the initiative, while OKKO covered all expenses. The concept was brought to life by sculptors Yehor and Mykyta Zihura.

“This artistic symbol reflects our emotions and feelings from the start of the full-scale invasion and those we hold today — unity, strength, and faith in our country,” said Akhtem Seitablaiev, director, actor, and serviceman of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The location of the sculpture also carries deep meaning — northern Kyiv, particularly Obolon, served as a critical defensive line during the first weeks of the full-scale invasion. The art space is intended to be a place for reflection, gratitude, and remembrance.
