Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC does not rule out that manipulative messages about gas transit through Ukraine starting in 2025 may appear soon, the head of the company, Oleksiy Chernyshov, told RBC-Ukraine.
“Unfortunately, we may witness some speculations in November and December in this direction. I think there will be manipulations of facts,” Chernyshov said.
At the same time, the head of Naftogaz once again confirmed that there are no plans to extend the transit contract with Gazprom.
Chernyshov also emphasized that the company is working to attract non-residents to store natural gas in Ukrainian underground storage facilities.
“We are constantly in the process of attracting gas traders. We are open - any company can store gas with us,” Chernyshov added.
