Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC, a part of Naftogaz Group, has operated a new well with a daily flow rate of 110 tcm of natural gas per day. This is reported by the company's press service. The drilled well is an appraisal and production well with a depth of 5,920 m.
“Thanks to the application of modern approaches to field development, we have a good result. Notably, the field where the well was drilled is more than 45 years old. I thank the entire team for their dedication and hard work. We are confidently moving towards our goal of energy independence of the state,” commented Oleksiy Chernyshov, CEO of Naftogaz.
According to the CEO of Naftogaz, since the beginning of this year, state-owned and private production companies have already drilled more than a hundred new wells in Ukraine.
The idea of drilling the well belongs to Oksana Shchyrba from UkrNDIGas. The result fully confirmed the calculations of the Institute's scientists.
“The project team plans to drill two more new appraisal and production wells at this field. I would like to thank my colleagues for the new developments in gas and condensate production at the old fields,” said Serhiy Lagno, Acting General Director of Ukrgasvydobuvannya.
