Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC, a member of Naftogaz Group, has received pipe products to restore pipelines damaged by the hostilities from Tetra Tech ES, Inc. The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) financed the purchase. The press service of Naftogaz reported this.
“In total, Ukrgasvydobuvannya has received more than 1,700 pipeline parts. We are grateful to our international partners for the assistance provided - it is very relevant in the context of constant attacks on energy infrastructure. It is very important for us to maintain the stability of production processes until the end of the heating season,” said Oleksiy Chernyshev, CEO of Naftogaz Group.
In his turn, Serhiy Lagno, Acting CEO of Ukrgasvydobuvannya, added that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, USAID has provided the company with 102 diesel power plants and 6,000 tons of methanol, which is a critical raw material for the production, treatment, and transportation of natural gas.
In addition, the Agency provided additional protection for the Group's gas production facilities from Russian attacks.
