Naftogaz Group has sufficient gas reserves for a stable heating season. All Naftogaz companies are operating in the normal mode, ensuring the production, storage, and supply of natural gas to all categories of consumers. This is stated in a statement on the company's website.
Naftogaz is ready for the winter heating season
“We are monitoring the situation with gas reserves. They will be enough for a stable heating season. Comfort and warmth in the homes of Ukrainians are the main priority of our work. Naftogaz Group also imports fuel, so we must be prepared for all challenges in the war,” said Roman Chumak, CEO of Naftogaz Group.
Chumak added that various scenarios are currently being worked out together with international partners to strengthen the country's energy stability during the war.
How Naftogaz companies help to get through the winter
As a reminder, however, one of the Group's companies, Ukrtransgaz JSC, purchased imported natural gas at the Ukrainian Energy Exchange in December-January to attract additional gas resources.
