Oleksii Chernyshov, Chairman of Naftogaz Ukraine, has refuted rumors regarding the potential cessation of Russian oil transit until the contract's expiration. This was reported by the specialized publication ExPro.
Chernyshov made these comments following successful negotiations with the Slovakian government and major energy companies during his visit to Bratislava earlier this week.
"I categorically deny rumors about halting oil transportation to Europe until the contract's expiration," Chernyshov stated.
"Ukraine remains a reliable partner for European countries. We fully understand the importance of stable energy supply for the population and will continue to fulfill our obligations under the current contracts for gas and oil transportation," he added.
