On July 19, 2025, a historic event took place in Lviv: Premier FOOD Group with its own brand Mr.Grill and partner UKRNAFTA set a national record in Ukraine for the "Largest number of hot dogs prepared at a gas station in 60 minutes".
The record was officially certified by the National Register of Records of Ukraine — five brand chefs from Mr.Grill prepared 1,000 hot dogs in just 47 minutes, surpassing their own expectations.
After the official record confirmation, all the hot dogs were distributed for free to the guests. In total, more than 1,200 hot dogs were prepared and served during the event.
Record statistics:
- 1,000 hot dogs in 47 minutes;
- over 1,000 sausages and buns;
- 25,000 ml of signature sauces.
The program included a drum show, quizzes with gifts, and food zones. Children enjoyed entertainment with animators — the Naftozavr and the Giant Hot Dog, face painting, bubble shows, and photo zones.
This record-breaking event was held as part of the celebration of the International Hot Dog Day — a key holiday of the year for the Mr.Grill brand, which has been shaping Ukraine's street food culture for over 17 years and setting market trends as an industry leader. The festival took place at a UKRNAFTA gas station in Lviv and brought together hundreds of guests around the idea of quality and delicious street food.
"No one has ever done anything like this. We didn’t just reach the goal — we exceeded it. I believe July 19, 2025, can rightfully be called one of the tastiest events of the year. I’m proud of my team," commented Vitalii Voitovych, founder and CEO of Premier FOOD Group.
The head of the National Register of Records of Ukraine, Lana Vetrova, shared her impressions of the event and noted that “in the culinary arts category — one of the largest record categories in Ukraine, reflecting our national character and mentality — this specific nomination "Most hot dogs prepared at a gas station" had not been recorded before.”
UKRNAFTA representatives said they supported their partner’s initiative to host the International Hot Dog Day and proposed their Lviv gas station for the event.
"The national gas station operator Ukrnafta is actively developing local projects to boost recognition and trust in the network, which is now undergoing a major transformation," explained Maksym Piatakov, Head of Non-Fuel Sales Department at UKRNAFTA.
One of the five Mr.Grill brand chefs cooking at the event was Vladyslav Shalabaiev — HR Director at Premier FOOD Group. He noted that the company began preparing for the International Hot Dog Day well in advance, with all brand chefs undergoing training.
“Premier FOOD Group not only trains and unites its staff but also educates partners and product buyers to ensure the most delicious hot dog from Mr.Grill,” emphasized Vladyslav Shalabaiev.
In total, over 1,200 hot dogs were prepared and given away to visitors during the event, which was organized by Premier FOOD Group with its brand Mr.Grill and the national gas station network UKRNAFTA.
This is already the third national record achieved by the company. In 2015, Premier FOOD Group set a record for the largest hot dog in Ukraine — 1.17 meters long and weighing 19.5 kg. In 2021, during Oktoberfest in Kyiv, the company broke its own record with a hot dog measuring 1.83 meters and weighing 24 kg.
