The trading company Martin has initiated the supply of 3,000 tons of propane fraction for distribution under contracts with Ukrainian consumers, the company told NaftoRynok.

New Supply Route
This marks the first-ever LPG shipment to Ukraine by Martin via tanker. Currently, the Gas Lisbon vessel is transporting the cargo towards the Sulina estuary. According to the quality certificate, the tanker is loaded with LPG from the Egyptian company Modern Gas Derivatives Company (MGDC).
"Our Ukrainian partners have already reserved 90% of the cargo," the company stated.
Martin’s Experience in the LPG Market
Martin has been importing liquefied gas via land transport from EU countries. In 2024, the trader increased LPG supplies by nearly 2.5 times, with an average monthly delivery volume of up to 0.4 thousand tons.
More than 74% of the total imports came from the Mažeikiai Refinery in Lithuania. The company is the fourth-largest buyer of liquefied gases from Orlen Lietuva in Ukraine, purchasing directly from the producer. For decades, Orlen Lietuva's fuel has earned a reputation for high quality among Ukrainian consumers and traders. Several Ukrainian gas station networks market it as a premium product in their assortments.
