KLO gas station in Stoyanka (Kyiv region) won in the nomination “Most Interesting Gas Station” of the first national competition “Gas Station of the Year 2025”, organized by NaftoRynok. The award ceremony took place on October 8 at “PROgress your Station 2025”.
The gas station in Stoyanka was completely rebuilt after being destroyed in 2022. It is now a new building that meets all modern architectural requirements for accessibility. The station is equipped with two elevators for people with limited mobility, which lead to the second floor, where the “Borshch” restaurant will soon reopen, said the station’s director, Oleksandr Rybytskyi.
About the winner of the “Most Interesting Gas Station 2025” nomination
The KLO station will soon be equipped with a solar power plant — a practice KLO has been using since 2010. In the same building with the gas station operates a McDonald’s fast food restaurant, and KLO’s own restaurant “Borshch” is planned to open by the end of 2025.

The station features a separate fueling area for TIR trucks and a bus lane to organize traffic flow on the station’s grounds.
This gas station has become legendary for its story of resilience during the first months of the full-scale invasion. Its employees supported the local community, travelers, and the military until March 4, 2022, when the station was bombed. The renewed station now bears a second name — “Phoenix.” Phoenix-style design elements are reflected in the station’s facade and interior.

The editorial team of NaftoRynok visited the winning station of the “Most Interesting Gas Station” nomination and presented external awards of the “Gas Station of the Year 2025” competition, so customers and visitors are aware of its high recognition status. The awards were received by station director Oleksandr Rybytskyi.

Among the amenities that make the customer experience both comfortable and engaging are a coffee corner with a counter, beverage fridge, a checkout zone with three registers (serving both fuel and retail goods), a café offering snacks and eat to go meals, IBOX contactless payment terminals, self-service parcel pickup terminals from Epicentr, a currency exchange point, ATM, fresh flowers, and a convenience store with a wide assortment of food, household, and automotive products, as well as its own branded merchandise — “Fuel of Fury.”

The station also provides car maintenance services (tire inflation), EV charging stations, and parking. Architectural accessibility at the gas station includes tactile paving, color-coded doors, bright warning stickers, and wide passageways.

As a reminder, KLO gas station (Stoyanka, Kyiv region) was also recognized as the “Best Gas Station of 2025.”
