Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC has performed hydraulic fracturing at one of its wells, which allowed to increase daily natural gas production by 5 times - up to 100 tcm per day, the company's press service reports. The work was completed in 18 days.
According to UGV, from November 2023 to August 2024, the well operated with a gradual decrease in flow rate from 29 to 18 tcm of gas per day. After collecting geological and technical information and calculating the well's potential, the company's specialists decided to workover the well.
“We continue to implement the hydraulic fracturing program to effectively extract gas reserves. After modernizing our fleet and improving our competencies, our specialists successfully apply hydraulic fracturing at Ukrgasvydobuvannya wells. Our employees work at the level of international service companies,” said Serhiy Lagno, Acting General Director of UGV.
