Specialists of 21 branches of Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine LLC (Gazmerezhi), a member of Naftogaz Group, maintained intra-building gas supply systems in 34.806 thousand apartment buildings. During the work, the specialists eliminated 240.113 thousand gas leaks. This was reported by the press service of Naftogaz.
“The Gazmerezhi team performs critical work for the safety and comfort of citizens. Thanks to the professional maintenance of intra-building gas networks, we can minimize the risks of accidents and guarantee the stability of gas supply,” said Roman Chumak, acting Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
According to the company, maintaining apartment buildings was one of the key challenges in 2024. Before that, proper maintenance of intra-building gas networks had not been carried out for at least 4 years, which significantly increased the risks for residents, especially given the additional burden on infrastructure during the war.
“We are implementing modern approaches to maintenance and doing our best to ensure safe gas use in every home. We thank our customers for their trust and responsibility,” Roman Chumak added.
