Fuel sales at gas stations in November 2024 totaled UAH 32.0 billion, down 4.2% from October, with fuel volumes decreasing by 3.5%, according to the State Tax Service of Ukraine and NaftoRynok.

Retail sales fell in November after a brief increase in October. Compared to the same month last year, sales were down 6.6%. For January–November 2024, total sales reached 7.3 billion liters.

Chernihiv Oblast saw the largest drop in fuel volumes in November (-10.2%), while Kyiv recorded the highest growth (+3.8%). Annually, the steepest decline was in Donetsk (-40.3%), followed by Chernivtsi (-17.4%) and Kherson (-16.0%) regions. Growth compared to November 2023 was seen only in Volyn (+12.7%), Kyiv Oblast (+0.1%), and Kyiv city (+0.8%).

The number of retail fuel licenses rose by 43 in November to 6,754. The biggest drop was in Kharkiv Oblast (-33 licenses), while the highest gains were in Kyiv (+38), Vinnytsia (+24), and Odesa (+20) regions.

Kyiv retained the top spot for average daily fuel sales per station at 7.7 thousand liters per day per station, up 0.2 thousand liters from October. The lowest averages were in Kherson (1.0 thousand liters) and Donetsk (1.8 thousand liters) regions.
