The group of companies supplying the BRSМ-Nafta gas station network has maintained its top position among LPG importers to Ukraine from January to November 2024, according to NaftoRynok Daily fuels & LPG on December 6, 2024.

BRSМ has held the number one spot in the LPG importer rankings every month this year. The company’s total imports grew by 26.2%, reaching 107,500 tons during January–November 2024 compared to the same period in 2023. This allowed BRSМ to surpass last year’s leader, Econovatica, which supplies LPG via Danube and western Ukraine terminals.

Supply Sources

The company credits its success to improved logistics, using its own sea and river transport, and shifting to direct supply agreements with producers and global traders in the south.

At the end of 2023, BRSМ acquired three gas carriers with a combined capacity of 3,700 tons from Centurion Group. These ships enable the delivery of gas from Algeria, Egypt, and EU countries at more competitive prices compared to other market players.

NaftoRynok reports that nine of the top ten LPG importers from 2023 remain in the ranking for 2024. The top three importers account for 33.2% of Ukraine’s LPG imports this year, up from 29% in 2023.

BRSM-Nafta LPG Gas station

On December 9, 2024, BRSМ opened its 218th gas station, continuing its expansion. All its stations include LPG modules, making BRSМ the largest retailer of autogas in Ukraine. The company is also strengthening its position in the wholesale market.

Earlier, NaftoRynok reported that BRSМ signed a long-term contract for German gasoline supplies.
