Yurii Tkachuk officially began work as Chief Executive Officer of JSC "Ukrgazvydobuvannya" (UGV) on December 26, ExPro reports, citing company employees.

As a reminder, Tkachuk’s candidacy was approved by the supervisory board and the shareholder for the position of head of UGV back in mid-December. Prior to his appointment at Ukrgazvydobuvannya, Yurii Tkachuk headed another state-owned extraction company — JSC "Ukrnafta". On December 25, Tkachuk completed his work at Ukrnafta, which he announced on his social media pages.
“Today I am finishing my work at Ukrnafta and would like to sincerely thank everyone with whom I had the honor to work over the past three years. It was a difficult and responsible stage — both for the company and for me personally. Throughout this time, Ukrnafta operated under conditions of a full-scale war, fulfilling a critical role for the country’s economy and energy security,” he wrote.
According to NaftoRynok, Serhii Lahno, who served as Acting CEO of UGV for a year and a half, will continue working at the company as Chief Engineer.
