Ukrgazvydobuvannya JSC has been digitizing natural gas production since 2020. Over 3 years, modern technologies were implemented in more than 630 wells. Since the beginning of 2023, more than 250 wells have been connected to the unified monitoring system. This was reported by the Naftogaz press service.
Transition to modern technologies, says acting general director of UGV Oleg Tolmachev, has already led to a decrease in gas losses and a decrease in operating expenses for the maintenance of wells integrated into a single monitoring system.
"Digitalization creates new opportunities for increasing the efficiency of gas production. And for us, this is certainly a strategic direction. Currently, we can analyze the operation of key wells online and promptly respond to any changes," Tolmachev says.
Oleg Tolmachev also added that Ukrgazvydobuvannya plans to implement remote monitoring of drilling rigs in the near future.
