Well drilling and casing operations lasted for 227 days. Namely, the target depth of 5 344 metres was reached within 175 days, which is the best result on the field.

Michael Bakunenko, the Chairman of the Board of PJSC MC Ukrnaftoburinnya:

“We’ve reached the qualitatively new figures on daily flowrate that amounted to 1.350 million m3 of gas and which is the absolute record for UNB as of today. This became possible owing to completion of the well No. 38, the daily flowrate of which amounted to 400 thousand m3. Besides, within the shortest possible period of time, the well had reached the target depth of 5 344 metres. This is another new achievement of the Company. But we are not going to be satisfied with what has already been achieved and we set an ambitious goal to initiate drilling of another 3-4 wells by the end of the year. Experience of the previous few years has shown that this is within the powers of UNB team.”
