In the first half of 2024, Ukrnafta entered the top 10 diesel importers in Ukraine. The company's share of the diesel import market rose to 3%, according to the June 2024 issue of NaftoRynok Monthly Fuels & LPG.
The top 10 importers collectively accounted for about 59% of all diesel imports during this period. Most suppliers showed a positive import trend compared to 2023, except for OKKO (down 3.7% from H1 2023), WOG (down 26.5%), and BRSM-Nafta (down 8.2%). Alliance Energy Trade nearly doubled its imports, capturing 9% of the total, while Martin Group also showed strong growth with a 3% market share.
Notably, PPek and Azares made significant strides compared to the previous half-year. Ukrnafta's entry into the top 10 is a major milestone, and with its current acquisition volumes, the state-owned company is aiming for a Top 5 position.
