According to the results of its activities in the first half of 2024, Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC (UGV) produced 6.913 bcm of commercial gas, which is 8.8% more than in the same period last year. This is reported by the press service of UGV.
Ukrgasvydobuvannya has put 41 wells into operation, 14 of which are high rate, i.e. produce more than 100 tcm of natural gas per day.
"These are very good results achieved due to the integrated work of the team. I am grateful to my colleagues for their professionalism. We also have good gas production figures at old, modernized wells. Ukrgasvydobuvannya is introducing new technologies, developing and keeping pace with the world," said Sergiy Lagno, acting CEO of UGV.
He also added that the company managed to drill 165.864 thousand meters in the first half of 2024, which is 9.117 thousand meters more than last year.
As a reminder, Naftogaz Group companies Ukrgasvydobuvannya and Ukrnafta produced 7.3 bcm of commercial gas in the first half of 2024, up 8% compared to 2023.
