Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC (UGV), a part of Naftogaz Group, has performed hydraulic fracturing at one of its wells, which increased the well's production rate to 191 tcm, the company's press service reports.
The prospects of the well and further hydraulic fracturing were determined by the specialists of the Ukrgasvydobuvannya HF Department, the Department for Monitoring and Planning of Geological and Technological Measures, and the Geological Division of PoltavaGasVydobuvannya GPD. Hydraulic fracturing was performed by Tacrom Ukraine.
“After the injection test, which was carried out at a maximum pressure of 834 atm, and the mini-gas fracturing, the design of the main work was adjusted and the volumes of liquid and propane injection were optimized,” said Serhiy Lagno, acting Head of UGV.
As a reminder, over 8 months, UGV has commissioned 22 high-rate wells.
