According to the results of the first auctions for the purchase of Ukrainian-produced natural gas on the Ukrainian Energy Exchange (UEEX), Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC purchased 1.6 mcm of natural gas. This is evidenced by the stock exchange trading bulletin.
Naftogaz purchased 1.5 mcm of the May-booked resource at prices of 10,755 - 10,791 UAH/tcm (without VAT), the weighted average price is 10,767 UAH/tcm (without VAT) or 12,920 UAH/tcm (with VAT). Terms of payment - monthly payment with the first payment on May 10 in the amount of 25% of the total cost.
The company also purchased 100 tcm of the UGS-booked resource with delivery in April at a price of 10,972 UAH/tcm (without VAT) or 13,166 UAH/tcm (including VAT). Terms of payment - post-payment within 5 banking days after signing the commercial act.
Trading activity at Naftogaz auctions on the first day of trading was lower than expected.
In addition to Naftogaz, Gazpromenergo LLC purchased 500 tcm of the April-booked resource at a price of 10,835 UAH/tcm (without VAT). The company first appeared on the UEEX in March 2023, but today it purchased gas for the first time on the stock exchange.
Energy Trade Group LLC also purchased 500 tcm of the UGS-booked resource at a price of 11,000 UAH/tcm (without VAT) on prepayment terms.
In addition, Kyivvodokanal JSC purchased 250 tcm of the May-booked resource at 12,577 UAH/tcm (without VAT) on post-payment terms until July 15, 2023.
